About the Author
Michael E. Gordon was a university professor for 45 years during which time he often undertook the challenge of teaching courses only tangentially related to the focus of his graduate training in industrial psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. His three books and many journal articles broke ground in the fields of industrial relations and organizational communication. He served on the reviewer staff for the leading journals in industrial psychology and industrial relations. The most gratifying events of his career are the many awards won for his teaching at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
